A few months ago I had the pleasure of meeting Louie Manzo at a mutual friend’s birthday party.  Our mutual friend was kind enough to tell him about She Should Know and my efforts to support women through this site.  Louie suggested great ideas for marketing She Should Know and then he told me about Boobalicious…

On Friday October 16, 2009, the 8th Annual Boobalicious - The Pink Playground, will light up the night at the Sound Academy at the Polson Pier.  Hosted by Warrick Manzo & Dunn Inc., Boobalicious has become a fundraising force to be reckoned with each year in the Greater Toronto Area. The excitement spread across the nation in 2007, prompting an inaugural Boobalicious Vancouver party in September 2008 and the addition of the Vancouver-based Keep-A-Breast Foundation to its beneficiaries in early 2009. Having raised well over $50,000 toward the Weekend to End Breast Cancer, Boobalicious is opening its doors to the public for the first time and the coordination team is gearing up for what will be its biggest bash yet.

So how does She Should Know fit in? In honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I will be dedicating the site {do you like the pink?} to awareness for women in various stages of their lives.  I will profile the stories of survivors, the stories of women currently dealing with breast cancer, the legacies of the women we have lost and the benefeciaries of the Boobalicious event - the Weekend to End Breat Cancer and the Keep-A-Breast Foundation.
