What makes you think you’re so special?

Have you ever been asked WHAT MAKES YOU THINK YOU’RE SO SPECIAL?  As a young woman I was asked this question constantly when I expressed my very grand dreams for the future, my desire to have only the best and the certainty that I would have everything I wanted in this life.   I was told I was not smart enough, not humble enough, not pretty enough and not old enough for these delusions of grandeur.  The harshest criticisms came from the women in my life whose opinions mattered to me at the time; family, friends and teachers.  It took me a very long time to understand why my attitude was met with so much negativity and discomfort.

As women, we often look to other women to measure our self-worth; we compete, we compare and we judge.  This is such a vicious cycle because you will always be ahead and behind people in this life.  Your life should be your primary focus!  Are you doing enough to have the life of your dreams?  If you are, you will not be bothered by any woman who is doing or has done everything possible to have a great life.  You should never have time to tear another woman down!

We are all special.  However you define it, we all have a right to an exceptional life. Take the time to positively reinforce the women in your life, support their goals and help them be their best.  The beauty of this practice is that your generosity will be returned to you, you will be positively reinforced, your goals will be supported and you will  be helped to be your best.

FOR ONE DAY, VIA PHONE CALL, EMAIL OR TEXT,  LET THE WOMEN IN YOUR LIFE KNOW HOW VALUABLE THEIR GOALS ARE TO YOU AND FIND OUT IF THERE IS ANYTHING YOU CAN DO TO HELP THEM ACHIEVE THESE GOALS.
