Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion into clarity…. It turns problems into gifts, failures into success, the unexpected into perfect timing, and mistakes into important events. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow. Author: Melody Beattie

There is an idea that permeates our society that tells us, to be happy we have to have more; more money, more time, more things and more love.   This ideology is flawed because it does not tell the complete story; if you believe that happiness comes from having more, then ask yourself what will ever be enough?  As you try to answer that question, consider gratitude as an approach to happiness.  Are you grateful for your family? Your friends? A warm sunny day?  Happiness is all around us; it is always there waiting to be acknowledged with a simple thank you for the people and things we take for granted.  SAY THANK YOU & SMILE. It always works!
